It's been a rainy spring. As many of you know, I work from home — at least, I do on those days when I'm not in town at the library. Living and working in this small cabin with big windows overlooking the meadow, seasonal changes are impossible to ignore. Four or five different varieties of Daffodils have bloomed so far. There are many, many more bird species around than there were a month ago. I've seen three Pileated Woodpeckers in the past few weeks. I'd never seen one before that.
